Grow Into the
Life You Want

clarity. confidence. connection.

You already sense what's possible, for yourself or for the two of you. Coaching helps you hear what's really going on and turn it into change you can feel the next morning. In person in Greater Portland, OR, or online wherever you are.

How I Can Help

No matter how we work together, the work looks the same: curious listening, honest reflection, and practical next steps. Whether you're working through something on your own or navigating a relationship, you don't have to figure it out in a vacuum.

Curious Listening

You bring whatever you're carrying, and I listen without judgment, for what's said and for what isn't. Feeling truly heard is where change starts.

Honest Reflection

I'll share what I notice: the patterns, the stuck spots, and the strengths you tend to overlook. Kindly, directly, and with room for more than one thing to be true.

Practical Next Steps

Insight only matters if it shows up in your life. We leave each session with something concrete to carry into your week, at a pace that's right for you.

Kyle Meuli, relationship and couples coach in Portland, Oregon

Hi, I'm Kyle

I believe your relationships have a voice, and I'm here to help you hear it.

Most of us wait until the floor is falling through before we ask for help. We think we should 'just know' how to navigate the most complex thing on earth: human connection. Here's the truth: You don't have to wait until things are 'bad' to make them better. Whether you're a couple having the same circular argument, or an individual navigating a massive life transition, you don't have to solve it in a vacuum.

I am a certified ORSCC, ICF ACTC, and ICF ACC coach. While those letters represent years of training, what they really mean is that I have the tools to help you see your 'system' clearly.

I don't just coach individuals; I coach the relationship. In our sessions, we look at the patterns, the misalignment, and the opportunities for connection. My goal isn't just a 'good session,' it's for shifts that actually translate to your life the next morning.

I'm a firm believer that more than one thing can be true at the same time. You can love someone deeply and still feel completely disconnected from them. You can be successful and still feel lost in a transition.

I'm here for the people who are ready to put in the effort, show up differently, and stop letting anything keep them from the growth they deserve.

The trainings behind the work, in case you were curious.

Relationship Coaching

Relationship coaching isn't just for relationships in trouble. It's for any two people who want to show up better for each other, whether you're working through a rough patch, navigating a big life change, or just want the tools to keep your relationship strong.

Common areas clients work on include communication patterns, conflict resolution, rebuilding trust, navigating major transitions, and simply reconnecting after drifting apart. Sessions are available in person in Greater Portland, OR, or virtually.

Safe Space

A neutral, supportive environment where both partners can speak openly and feel heard without fear of judgment.

Real Tools

Practical communication frameworks and exercises you can use in your daily life, not just during sessions.

Your Goals

Every couple is different. We focus on what matters most to you, whether that's trust, intimacy, communication, or all of the above.

A good fit if…

  • You keep having the same argument and want to understand what's underneath it.
  • You're heading into a big change together: moving in, marriage, a baby, a move, an empty nest.
  • Things are good, and you want to be intentional about keeping them that way.
  • Both of you are willing to look at your part, not just your partner's.

Probably not the right fit if…

  • There's abuse, threats, or anyone feels unsafe at home. Please start with a licensed therapist or a domestic violence advocate.
  • You're looking for someone to decide who's right.
  • You need treatment for a mental health condition. Coaching can work alongside therapy, not in place of it.

Individual Coaching

Individual coaching is your space. It's where you get to focus entirely on yourself, your goals, your challenges, and the things you've been putting off or struggling to figure out alone.

Whether you're navigating a career shift, working through a personal transition, building confidence, or just trying to figure out what's next, coaching gives you the structure and support to move forward with clarity.

Life Transitions

A new job, a breakup, a move, a loss, a milestone birthday. When the old map stops working, we draw a new one.

Confidence & Direction

Get clear on what you actually want, name what's been in the way, and start acting from your strengths.

Relationships, Solo

Your partner isn't ready for coaching, or you're single and want to do things differently next time. Changing your part changes the whole system.

A good fit if…

  • You know something needs to shift, even if you can't name it yet.
  • You want a thinking partner, not someone to hand you a script.
  • You're ready to try things between sessions, not just talk about them.

Probably not the right fit if…

  • You're in crisis or need diagnosis or treatment. A licensed therapist is the right first step, and coaching can come later.
  • You want quick fixes without doing the work.

Teams, too

The same tools that help two people find their way back to each other work for groups. If you lead a company team or a small business crew, or you're planning a corporate retreat, reach out and we'll talk about what your team needs.

Rooted in the Pacific Northwest

Born and raised in the PNW, and these days I call Portland home. It's where I'm rooted, and it shapes how I work: unhurried, honest, and comfortable with a little gray weather. Growth, like everything out here, takes time to take root.

If you're looking for a couples coach or individual coach in the Greater Portland area, we can meet face to face. If you're somewhere else, or just prefer your own couch, virtual sessions work just as well.

FAQ

What's the difference between coaching and therapy?

Therapy often focuses on healing past wounds and diagnosing mental health conditions. Coaching looks forward. It's about figuring out where you want to go and building a plan to get there. I don't diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Instead, I help you gain clarity, build skills, and take action toward the life or relationship you want.

Do you offer in-person sessions?

Yes! I live in Portland and meet with individuals and couples across the Greater Portland area (within 30-45 minutes). We'll work out the details, like where and when, during your free consultation.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes! All sessions are available virtually via Google Meet, so you can join from wherever you're most comfortable. Virtual sessions are just as effective as in-person, and many clients prefer the flexibility.

Do both partners need to come to relationship coaching?

Yes. Relationship coaching is for the relationship, so everyone in it needs to be in the room to hear it and work on it together. If only one of you is ready, that's individual coaching, which can still focus on how you show up in your relationship. If one of you is in and the other is on the fence, that's normal. Let's chat about all the potential options, together.

Do you work with teams or businesses?

Yes. My main focus is couples and individuals, but I also work with company teams, small business teams, and corporate retreats. My ORSCC and ICF ACTC training is built for exactly this kind of group work. Send me a note and we'll talk about what your team needs.

How long does coaching typically last?

It depends on your goals. Some clients see meaningful shifts in just a few sessions. Others prefer ongoing support over several months. There's no minimum commitment, and we'll check in regularly to make sure coaching is still serving you.

I'm not sure if I need individual or relationship coaching. Where do I start?

That's exactly what the free consultation is for. Bring whatever's on your mind and we'll figure out the right shape for the work together.

Ready to Take the First Step?

Just getting here took courage, and a lot of small wins along the way. Take a moment to honor that.

Then, whenever you're ready, book a free 30-minute introductory session, in the Greater Portland area or online, and let's figure out what's next, together.
